Who owned this blown Chevy T-Bucket? Seen in the pits at Detroit Dragway in 1969, the car looks super sano. Either the altered is brand new, or the owner took very good care of it.
As you can see, there is no lettering or stickers visible. That blown small block sits high in the chassis, fuel altered style. I can’t tell if the body is original steel or a fiberglass reproduction. I like the way the moon tank is tucked into the space the original grille would have occupied.
Seeking clues to this altered’s identity
But that is pretty much all I have. With no lettering, no competition number, and no team members who might be recognized, this car is a mystery to me.
So I am throwing this out to the readers. Does anyone have information on this car?
