Pat Foster and the Mickey Thompson Mustang

The 1969 Mickey Thompson Mustangs established the high-water mark for Ford powered funny cars. None of the future M/T cars, nor any other Ford powered car would have the impact of the two car 1969 effort. Even so, the 1969 Mickey Thompson Mach 1 are probably the most successful funny car effort of all time.
